Summary
This course, organized by CLAD – Portuguese Association for Classification and Data Analysis, with the support of GEAD/ISEC – Statistics and Data Analysis Group of the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra, proposes an introduction to PLS Path Modeling (PLS-PM ), also known as a set of techniques that allow analyzing explanatory relationships between several variables simultaneously, latent or observed. The models presented as application examples will be estimated using SmartPLS software.
Recipients
All potential users who need or are interested in estimating models using PLS-PM. These techniques are particularly popular in the fields of psychology, social sciences, economics and management.
Duration and Scheduling
The course will last 7 hours, from 9:30 to 18:00, with 90 minutes for lunch. The more detailed program is attached.
Condition
The course will run with a minimum and maximum number of 10 and 20 participants, respectively. Applications not accepted will be sent to future editions of the course.
Investment and Application Deadline
For CLAD members (with regularized membership fees) the course is free, the investment for CLAD non-members is €60. CLAD will issue a certificate of participation. The deadline for registration is November 14, 2012.
