Summary
The course is organized by CLAD (Portuguese Association for Classification and Data Analysis) and proposes an introduction to Data and Information Visualization. Visual representation allows for an easier understanding of large amounts of data; has been recognized as essential to support informed decisions by users and is increasingly used in data mining. An introduction to this scientific area will be made, given a historical perspective, addressing the fundamental concepts and most used methods, using examples and practical activities.
Recipients
All potential users of data (teachers, researchers, students and professionals from other areas) who wish to represent and explore them visually, for a better understanding of the underlying phenomena.
Duration and Scheduling
The course will last 6 hours and 30 minutes, from 10:00 to 18:30. The more detailed program is attached. conditioning. The course will work remotely, through the Zoom platform (the link will be sent later) with a minimum and maximum number of 10 and 50 participants, respectively.
Investment and Application Deadline
