This year, the XXX CLAD Conference on Classification and Data Analysis (JOCLAD 2023) will take place at Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo, from 20 to 22 April 2023.

This annual conference aimed, among others, at teachers, researchers, students and users who share interests in the area of Classification and Data Analysis, has as main objectives

– To promote, support, develop and disseminate scientific research in the area of Data Science;

– To promote scientific collaboration and exchange in the area of Data Science between researchers, companies and other organizations;

– To offer training in the area of Data Science.

Algorithms and optimization, Sampling, Classificatory analysis, Symbolic data analysis, Textual data analysis and natural language /Text mining, Experience analysis, Social network analysis, Survival analysis, Exploratory data analysis, Data analysis applications, Machine learning and pattern recognition, Databases and information management, Classification, discrimination and clustering, Quality control, Data mining and business intelligence, Deep learning, Models with latent variables, Mixture models, Fuzzy models and neural networks, Models for spatial data, Experiment planning, Regression and generalized linear models, Time series/longitudinal models, Data visualization.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Deadline for abstract submission: 31 January 7 February;

Notification of decision of the Scientific Committee: 28 February;

Registration at reduced cost: 14 March;

Deadline for registration payment to guarantee the publication of the abstract of the papers accepted in the book of abstracts: 21 March.

 

To encourage the participation of young people, CLAD scholarships are being awarded.
